Quick Start

Get a Claude API key
Go to console.anthropic.com, create an account or sign in, then navigate to API Keys and click Create Key. Copy the key — it starts with sk-ant-api03-…

Enter your key in Handle My Objection
Click the API Key button in the top-right corner of the app. Paste your key into the field and click Save Key. Your key is stored only in your browser — it is never sent to any server except directly to Anthropic.

Start a call and listen
Choose your audio source (Microphone or System Audio), pick a response tone, then click Start Listening. When you hear an objection, click Handle Objection — Handle My Objection will generate a tailored response script instantly.
Getting Your Claude API Key — Step by Step

Create an Anthropic account
Visit console.anthropic.com and sign up with your email. Anthropic offers a free tier with usage credits to get started.

Navigate to API Keys
Once logged in, click your account name in the top-left, then select API Keys from the left sidebar.

Create a new key
Click Create Key, give it a name like "Handle My Objection", and confirm. The key is shown once — copy it immediately and save it somewhere safe.

Add billing (for production use)
Free credits cover testing. For regular use, add a payment method under Billing in the console. API calls are pay-as-you-go — typical objection analysis costs a fraction of a cent per call.
Your key stays private. Handle My Objection never stores or transmits your API key to any server. It lives in your browser's localStorage and is sent directly to Anthropic when analyzing speech.

Tips & Tricks
Use Fast mode for cold calls
In Settings, switch to Fast (Haiku) for ~0.5s responses. Speed matters more than verbosity on cold calls.
Use Smart mode for demos
Smart (Sonnet) produces richer, more nuanced scripts. Use it when you have a few seconds to read the response.

Browser Requirements
Chrome or Chromium required for live transcription. Handle My Objection uses the Web Speech API for real-time speech-to-text, which is only available in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers. The AI analysis itself works in any modern browser.
